Lorenzo A. Daughtry-Chambers is the Chairman/CEO and Chief Influencer of the Global Development Initiative Inc. A “Social Enterprise” with the mission to provide holistic solutions to urban development. The author of the book “Creating Power Through Purpose: The Building blocks to create meaning, purpose and fulfillment in life,” Lorenzo is an activist and represents the 6th generation of Ministry in his family. Lorenzo believes that this generation is going to provide major solutions to major problems and he is committed to building and developing the young people who will do it through his work, his writing, his speaking, and his actions.
A 2011 graduate from Franklin and Marshall college with a B.A in government, Lorenzo is also a co-founder of IMPACT Inc. A non-profit organization geared to help young men of color enter and complete college. He is also the former director of The Invictus Youth Initiative under the umbrella of The Downtown Brooklyn Neighborhood Alliance, a full service community benefits organization with an unprecedented reach in New York City and beyond.
Lorenzo is currently traveling the country speaking and creating local and national partnerships that will carry the work and mission of The Global Development Initiative forward. He is humbled and grateful to partner and work with the next generation of change agents all around the world.
